so long 2011
Assalamualaikum, and happy new year y'all!! sorry i'm 9 days late to wish you guys that, but we are still in the new year spirit righttt! new year, new resolutions, new aims, new goals, new targets, alll sorts of things you want them new. na'ah? alrity, since my previous years azam were not that accomplished (i cant remember making any azam for 2011 to start with), lets just make this year's azam to be better than yesteryear(s). be a better daughter, a better sister, a better friend, a better lover, a better listener, a better punch bag, a better giver, a better writer, a better student, a better designer, a better QS, a better baker, a better stalker, a better girl woman, a better human being, a better Malaysian, a better Kuchingite, on top all, a better servant to my Creator, a better Muslim.
1. I want to come early for meetings and classes (ergh. kantoi).
2. I want to socialise more in person, rather than just logging on to FB to look if they are on chat.
3. I want to sleep on time and have deep quality slumber.
4. I have to stop procastinating.
5. I have to explore KL more : both the real deal of living in KL, AND the confusing-making-me-cry-when-i'm-lost-road of Klang Valley -_-'' (but i'm scared!)
6. I have to not be scared.
errrr regarding no 4, I think i'll start right after thiss post. coz if I started, this entry might have been posted like 10 days ago :P
recap on how my 2011 went:
Apiz turned 25! big boyy!
and we turned 11 :')
the sleepless nights in March. due to datelines AND some pain i felt on my right side of tummy, apparently due to follicular cyst. still can feel the pain now, literally this very moment. but the doc said its nothing serious so i'm putting a strong face on :)
after the battle with 3D Autocad and the tummy pain, i got to board the plane to Adelaide at 10pm the same day i submitted my work! what a blisss! lamak dah sik go on a long flight to anywhere.. seronok ok!! :D i started feeling excited when we took the train and left the main terminal for the international terminal in KLIA. i dont know if they have specific name for the terminals :P
enjoying evening sun in Glenelg, Adelaide. i super duper love evening sun!! :D
reaching Ashcombe Maze & Lavender Garden to me, was a big accomplishment! though i wasnt driving, but it was my initiative. i read bout this place way back before i even know i'm going to Melbourne anytime soon. see, i have a thing for cool stuff like a MAZE! and also a garden full of flowers in harmony colour! i just keep the info that i got in a little notebook that i carry around, and when i did know for sure that i'm bound for Melbourne in April, i searched for more info on the place. and the morning we were supposed to drive to the garden, i woke up early so i can go to the Visitor Information Centre to get one final info on the route to get to that place. it is in Shoreham, Victoria and is approximately 94km away from Melbourne CBD. on our way, i think we passed a few vineyard. but i was asleep half of the journey coz i didnt have enough sleep the night before, and i'm already tired of the walk i took that morning to the Visitor Information Centre. haish.
my friend said that i took a lot of photos of building and sceneries while i'm in Adelaide and Melbourne. but i countered back, "there are photos of me, but i didnt upload them (on FB). i purposely put the ones without me in them" but then when i checked back, nang sik banyak pun! ahaha like 90% of the photos are buildings and sceneries ALONE. welll... i have my reasons :|
on 26 August 2011, also on the 26th day of the fasting month last year, my grandfather passed away peacefully on a Friday morning. needless i say more, he is dearly missed and forever will be loved by all of the family members. may Allah SWT grants him barakah in the hereafter. Ameen..
a little guy name Muhd Aqif Raziq was born on 14 September 2011!! he is my darling little nephew. i remember he was handsome and have long legs when i first met him, that is two days after he was born :)
i got pretty excited that i spelled 'Auntie' with double A. hehe :P
and this is his recent photo. acting all gangster in his hooded sleeveless shirt. careful when you see this little brat in your hood, he might look you in the eyes and you will fall in love ♥
this was how i celebrated my birthday!
24 october. eh tiba-tiba :P
hehehe of course you cant see anything! we were watching fireflies and trying to take home a souvenir photo of them, but of course we failed. the first hand experience was awesomenesss! this is another place on my secret wishlist, that i never tell anyone i wanted to go, well i guess Apiz knows my obsession with awesome stuff like this. thank you, you :) Apiz keep on singing Firefly by Owl City during the journey to and from the park. hihihi
birthday dinner 1 :P
birthday dinner 2 - with two birthday cakes :')
oh and just a few minutes before 12am menandakan 25 October, i received a text from my mom. sounded something like this:
so u are 25 today. u must know how to make wise decision in whatever ways. may Allah bless us. Amin.
i felt sad reading it. it just feels like i'm old enough to take care of myself, but sometimes i cant do it right. how how how lah to take care of people around me? at this age, i am the one who's suppose to take care of my parents welfare, but i still ask them for money *malunyaa* and i definitely am bad at decision making. always calling my mom every now and then to ask if its ok to do this or that. but InsyaAllah, i'll learn. and i'll do something so i can start doing what a daughter my age should do to their parents :')
i also get to see Shane in action in real time this yearrrr! ehh. i mean Westlife. Westlife in action in real time :P very the excited! especially when they did What Makes a Man and Flying Without Wings :')
i guess both me and Apiz are glad that we discovered Ayam and Projek Disko Baldi this year. heheh
and the weddings! i think 2011 is the year friends start getting married. both primary & secondary school friends and uni friends. one after another, and these are some of the ceremony that i got to go to.. there are a few more that i didnt manage to go.. nevertheless, my prayers are always with those who made this big step to maturity and above all, pure engagement called marriage :)
Ainil & Elly. they are now expecting a baby anytime soon this month! :D
Iman and her husband (sorry i forgot his name!) already has one additional member to the family! :D
Sarah & Rudi - also expecting the little one sometime in May! :D
Pejul & Bahiyah. shaky i know. but this is the only photo i have of us.
my darling Asha & Nasir. well babe, we are expecting the good news from you ;P
Rabiah & Yasser. alicia keys kolej dah kawen y'all :P
Nur & Farhan - one of my very first friends from primary school years :')
just like 2011, i am blessed to get to usher the new year 2012 together with my family.
i wish you all a happy year ahead. sure there'll be hurdles and obstacles along the way, but like we always hear from time to time, what doesnt kill you, makes you stronger, right? and Allah SWT surely does not put you through something you can not deal with. believe and pray.
till next post :)

oh so random!
i've abandoned this place for a while, i know. and i feel bad for it. truth is, nowadays i cant seem to put my thoughts into words. i have the time, most of it i spend watching tv or stalking other blogs, but not nourishing and fluorishing my own. it feels like i am pweety lazy lately. i am lazy to read too many text, i am lazy to calculate simple maths, i even feel lazy to feel. and i am afraid that i'm losing myself. i can feel that i am not really the person who i was before, lately. takut, takuuut aiee :( it could be works that consume me bit by bit, or this place. this busy city which waits for no one. things seem to pass me by just like that (while i'm watching tv. heh). i hope i know enough the difference of losing passion and maturity, though.
but before i went out for class thismorning, i get to watch Barbie in 12 Dancing Princess on TV3! yeay! i wish i could watch it til the end, but i have to do my grown-up duty. but i probably will look for the DVD later :P watching the princesses dancing in colourful dresses and enjoying myself while doing it somehow gives me hope that i still have that few bit of my old self within me :)
i used to congratulate myself infront of you people every three months of my success after each term, right? and i dont really do it anymore right?? i know, right. i think i missed two terms without doing so..? now i'm in the middle of the last term of the year. less than a month to go to get over and done with this one. and i'm through to the last term, with God's willing. almost a year and a half passed, just like that *plucking fingers*. as much as i dont want it to be over too soon (coz i love the lecturers. now, really..?), i cant wait to be done with it either! i dont know whats waiting for me ahead, but i am pumped to know and discover. people say its a bitch, but i think i am ready to walk ahead and trip and stand up and fight :) lets just see la kan :P
friends are married. lots of friends. a couple of good friends. and another one coming up this weekend. and these few friends are those whom i was and am very close to. one is my childhood bestfriend, the first friend whom i called bestfriend as a kid :) one is my rebellious partner whom taught me a thing or two bout living in a society in which boys and men exist. haha and one is my leg warmer friend. eh? i mean she's so cool that she warms me up with her kind words and perspective of life, whenever i feel like banging my head to the wall :) congratulations, you three! i wish you all the best! and i hope our kids will one day be friends like we are, too! :) :) :)
congrats Rabiah! :')
congrats Asha! :')
i know this is random, but i think another reason for me not writing, is that thoughts and ideas always come at the wrong place. right time though, but very wrong place. like in the bathroom..? and during lecture..? and while i'm driving..? right timing, i tell you. like those are my thinking momento. well i'm not suppose to think bout other things during lecture though, but some things lead me to another you see. but but BUT, i cant write the thought down cos i dont have a pen and a paper with me at that time! i dont carry a pen with me in the bathroom, do you? i cant write while i'm driving, you can aa? and i cant pretend like i'm writing notes when i'm actually writing an emotional blog entry while i'm in the class, kannn?? hehehe but now! i'm in the class. finally.
they all went to the canteen, leaving notebooks and laptops just like that. its a safe place.
oh! about my birthday! :) about it.....

the promise that was broken
Assalamualaikum :)
these few days, i've been missing Adelaide. one place that i promised i will never go to again, or even miss it. but here i am, helplessly missing the city. especially this one:
the empty parking lot of Harbour Town and a red rooster building at the back. i think i miss the red rooster building the most. heh
and the late evening walk at Glenelg beach :')
and the pianos scattered around the city. Glee's purple piano project reminds me of these pianos :'|
Adelaide was this vacation full of emotions, i mean all kinds of emotion. starting from the immigration check in, till the departure for Melbourne, which somehow contribute to me vowing never ever stepping my feet there ever again. haha see how i emotional i get with her? :P but i admit, i AM missing Adelaide, the laidback city. especially those 70's style houses! if i could, i would stop and take photos in front of all the cute houses i passed by! or maybe build one just like it here in Malaysia? cuteness i tell you! :P well, on top of everything that happened, i miss those time badly, and i miss my travel mate dearly :')

Al Fatihah
on 26 August 2011, also 26 Ramadhan 1432H, Friday morning - my Nek Aki peacefully passed away slightly before Subuh adhan. its been two weeks now since he left us - a wife, 6 children, 5 children-in-laws, and 18 grandchildren. and i am already missing him like crazy. and when i recalled you once said, Fatin Amira is a special name, i cried hard. i cried then, and i cry now. Allah SWT surely planned it all. He chose towards the end of Ramadhan, where almost all of his grandchildren were already back in Kuching (except for two) to have Izrail took his roh from his body. i pray he is in a better state wherever his roh might be right now. and i pray i see him again one day in The Jannah. Rasulullah SAW said people in The Jannah are all young and fit, i hope i recognise you enough, Nek Aki, coz from the photos of a younger you i saw in your house, you were quite good looking that i almost fell for you :') may Allah SWT grants us all the ability to strive for His pleasure in this world, and grants us death with Iman, Ameen. till then, my doa are always with you, Nek Aki. i ♥ you..

one or another
Assalamualaikum wbt :)
i was once asked by a male friend, ''when are you getting married?'' and i said, ''when i'm ready'' and he asked again, ''ready for what?'' i went, ''ready to take care of my husband'' and he said back, ''why do you think you have to take care of him? why is it not him who's taking care of you?'' i stared blankly at him with eyes wide open. i was taken aback. i never really give that a thought. seriously, that coming from a guy, was really a mind boggling.
i'm not the best person to talk bout relationship. i've been in one relationship with this dude since year 2000, which makes us .. 11 years plus plus now? well, i seriously stop counting after year tenth. though it is a whole ten years of a love story, i cant say that i know everything bout being in a relationship, let alone bout this species they say hails from Mars. yes, of course i learn alot from the years of being in love with one person. i know how he acts around elder people and how he treats his parents with honour, respect and passion. i know the exact word to say to tick him off. i remembered him saying how happy he was that SPM is over, that he wanted to kick me. not all that romantic, i know. its just him expressing his feelings in the weirdest choice of words. but no worries, he did NOT kick me. i watched him took those nervous proud steps on his graduation day 2 years ago. i watched him grow from a boy to a man :) what i'm saying is, being in this single relationship for this long of a period, is different from being in a few different relationships with different people. i could not compare him to another man, coz i dont know any other man. i could not feel different type of treatment, coz he's just being his oneself. i dont get to be introduced to different sets of friends, or even families. but what i could do is, i can anytime and anywhere say ''Dear! you remember that one afternoon we went to the beach and you adopted some siput to become your pets? who goes to the beach in the afternoon, seriously? anyway, you were really taking care of them by not letting them out of your sight .. eventhough they were only digging into sands to protect themselves from a creepy foster dad like you. and then after you finished your Baywatch moment we ate homemade bihun goreng together on the deck. you remember that baby? now what year was that again??'' or .... ''what was your birthday present to me when i turned 21? what did i get you? did i already give you a watch? oh crap i'm out of things to give for your birthday!'' i'm just trying to say that i can reminisce all the sweet and not too sweet moments we went through together anytime without him saying ''i never did that with you?!! // *weird stare at you* // who the heck are you thinking of right now???! // *awkward silence* // *knowing gesture* // *sulking on 1 party, or both*''
i am actually trying to say all relationships need give and take. (errr i dont think i get that message across quite correctly) like what my Justin Baby Bieber says in one of his songs 'it supposed to be some give and take, i know' a relationship doesnt work if there is only 1 part playing Romeo, nor wont it work if only 1 pair of legs doing the tango. doesnt really matter if you're in a 10-year love affair or 3 months cupid stricken, but it does matter how you treat each other with respect and much love through out every triumph and trouble. everyone needs a shoulder to cry on every now and then. behind a man's success, always stands a woman whom he cant do it without; and behind a woman's success, syurga tetap di bawah tapak kaki suami. eh?
so bottom line, do you want to be with your loved one coz you want to be taken care of, or do you want to be together so you can take care of each other for as long as Allah wills you? :)
for a short tazkirah in Ramadhan, Nabi Sulaiman AS once said to his son ''it is better to walk behind a tiger and big snakes which are black, rather than walking behind a woman''. women is the least failed weapon used by the shaitan to destruct men and make them go astray. so, in the holy month of Ramadhan, it might be a good start for all of us to learn to lower our gaze unto the opposite sex. quoting a friend: ''the more sacrifice a person makes (in controlling the gaze) the greater will be the elevation in spirituality. Ibn Qayyum rahamatullahi alayh said that a person who dies without repenting from the sin of casting lustful gazes will be deprived of seeing Allah the Most High.''
Salam Ramadhan all :) :) :)

love strong
the first time i heard the term 'love strong' was when a childhood friend of mine asked a few years after we havent met each other, 'kitak masih ka dengan Hafiz?' (i think that was somewhere in 2003-2004. i think.) and i said 'aok masih.' and then she said 'waaaa love strong eh' that was my first time hearing the term love strong. never heard of it before, i thought in my head 'aiee salah padah ka apa nya tok. strong love la. ekekek' kira tetak ngan urang la tek. haish sik senonoh perangei, padahal dikpun yang naive. ekekekek tetak ngan dikpun gik. and then i learned the true meaning of the the term.
even my nenek also know how to use it ok. this happened a few years back.
Nek Wan: iboh suroh Razi betunang lamak gilak bah. setaun lamak gilak ya.
Mak: aie apa jak mek duak Junai dolok duak taun.
Nek Wan: eeeey kitak duak ya lain. kitak duak ya lep (love) strong!
sapa sik tekejut nenek i kelaka gia. haaaaa! lep strong sungguh nenek ku.
the reason why i'm yapping bout love strong today is... do you realise the dancing couple on the right hand side of your screen has moved to the number 12? yeeeepy! the couple will be swaying back to number 1 tomorrow! oh yessss we are turning a year older and more in love tomorrow! its our eleventh year fellas :)
i'm not gloating on how 'love strong' (heh. is that how we use it?) we are, but i am sure my love for Apiz is strong enough to take down my wall of ego and his love that i feel is strong enough that i want to be a better person when i'm with him.
Apiz dear, its been a while since i tell the world I Love You :)
Happy Birthday & Happy Anniversary, Sayang!

my person
this is a love message to one of the many owners of 21st January - but she is super extraordinary special coz she is my person, she is Shasheila Daud!
one year ago :)
over the years, we have been through thick and thin. we've been through hell and back again. we laughed, we cried, we fought, we hugged, and most importantly we survived it all! i just want you to know that you have been an amazing friend to me throughout the decade. you have taught me alot whether you realise it or not. i think my favourite moment with you is the one in Singapore where you dragged your bag down a so-called 3degrees hill and your bag went tergoleng-goleng and you were ngerepok at the same time and there was an orang puteh looking on. lets relive that moment shall we? aaaah i'm being a bad friend for liking that moment ;( but that is just so you!!! with your words coming out of your mouth tumbling into each other. heh i can laugh to sleep lah like this remembering all the words you said.
(ok right now i'm giggling to myself remembering that night you called Apiz 'boss')
apart from having babbling disorder, i look at you as a rational person. so you're a funny wise person. wow! superb combination dont you think? just dont mess up the prescription or that report thing you do in front of a patient like the ones in Grey's Anatomy ok! you've been a great listener, and i really hope i could be one for you too. i might do a button for you for that, kannnn??
other than that, you are one super cool travel mate! lets go travel some moreee!
i wish you all the luck in the world for your final year being a med student!! may you be surrounded with all the happiness and love throughout the year to keep your spirit high! and may you'll always be under His guidance and protection. Amin :) hope you had a blast kebaboom silver birthday!
xoxo, you know i love you!
*hugggggss*

i'm a red-head now : part II
as for 2011. one great way to start a year is: a wedding! my roomate back in UIA Matric Centre got married on 1.1.11. i am very the very happy for her~ she was my partner in crime back in the Matric years. i used to sleep over at her beautiful place in Sungai Buloh. even if i dont, she would pick me up at the hostel and bring me around. she gave me the very first lesson driving in KL! she showed me around, she taught me alot. we also went out shopping with the exact same top once! haha
Ainil, the beautiful bride. the week before her ceremony, she sent out a note to all her guests to request us all wear white on that day if we have any. in the western countries, it is almost disrespectful for a guest, let alone guestS, to wear white on a wedding reception, cause only the bride gets to wear the colour on that day. but not Ainil. for her, the whiter the better. she wanted everyone to blend in together in whiteness that day! Ainil, your combination with Elly is ravishing, babe! deeply happy from the bottomest of my heart for both of you~
after years of driving in KL, i had my 1st accident. yup yup yup! i chose 1.1.11 to have an accident. i knocked the pillar of my parking lot in my apartment. hahahahaha i dont simply knock other people ok. i accident sorang-sorang jak. hahaha
i was worried sick on Monday night. thinking bout my 1st class for this semester on the next day. because i'll be joining my seniors. up 3 batches senior. and i'm the only one from my batch. konon i'm the super junior in the class la. i'm worried if there's a group or pair work, i'll have no one to pair up with coz i dont know anyone. and of course they already have their own clique. i almost wanted to drop the subject. but i think again, that lame reason is not worth my time. so on my way to the class, i keep on praying to Allah to keep me strong and make the class possible for me. and once i sat inside, Alhamdulillah. everything was fine :) the senior didnt turn up so creepy. i even sat next to the super senior. but then again, i guess in terms of age, i'm the sensei. hahaha now bow to me you little children! the power of doa...
and then... after the class ended, i was rushing my way to Sri Pentas in Bandar Utama. they opened up a counter giving away the tickets away for free at 11am. i want the Anugerah Juara Lagu tickets soooooo badd!!! every possible circumstances popped into my mind. like: its a working day, rilek lah. sikda urang ngambik tiket ya bah. so i relaxed. driving dengan bergaya cool. and then the clock shows 10.45am and i'm already at TTDI area. i thought 'hmmmm gik awal. maybe i could go for a drink sekejap. kekekeke' tetak sorang ingat dah berjaya tahap duduk VVIP seat. and then something clicked into my cute brain 'rami gilaaaaaaa kot people requesting for the ticket. and they're giving it for free, and its limited. people WOULD skip coffee time and drive to Sri Pentas and get those tickets!!!!! especially Malaysian. no drinks for me. MUST GO NOW' then i start driving like a makcik looking for the entrance to Sri Pentas. i got a parking at around 10.55am. and there is already a loooooooooooooooong queue outside the Balai Pengawal. i panicked! double park pun double park la! 'mudahan pakcik somet sik menyaman urang time tok', i prayed. i joined merriment. and i prayed to God i can get those tickets. dipendekkan cerita, doa saya dimakbulkan, lagi. Alhamdulillah :) :) :)
2011. two thousand ELEVEN. so.very.special. i'm lost of words. how do i say this. this year, my relationship with Apiz turns ELEVEN. yup. that'll happen in less than a month. Alhamdulillah :'') who would have thought? not me. yes my initial intention was, mun dah start begerek ya, make sure klak kawen ngan nya, konon becinta sampai ke jinjang pelamin (ewah) sampei beranak pinak sampei ke Syurga, as in no tukar2 boyfriend from the very 1st one, yes thats exactly what happened. but i never imagine how it would make me feel to get this far. i am so very grateful to Allah SWT. Alhamdulillah. thank you Allah. the power of doa, kannn :) :) :')

i guess 2011 will be a memorable year, as lots and lots and lots of friends have chosen this year to tie the knot. Ainil did it. my graceful Sarah got engaged and will be married later this year. and a few number of friends have started sending out invitations as well. and some are already battling the stress metre on wedding preparations.

so i guess the year full of love is finally here~ spread the love people. for those who are still single and available, maybe this is the year you'll be lucky in love. for those who are single but attached, we're in the same boat babes! keep the love growing and pray for the best! for those engaged and waiting to get married, this would be the time to spend all out with your parents and siblings before you got another responsibility on your shoulder! for those who are married, hey make lotsa babies will ya! tadaa! free horoscope for everyone!
now, i have a pesanan to all my sisters in Islam, and also to myself, tips on how to stay attractive and beautiful for the rest of our lives :)
1. To beautify your eyes: lower your gaze towards strange men, this will make your eyes pure and shiny.
2. To beautify your face and make it shiny: keep doing wudhu minimum five times a day.
3. To have attractive lips: always mention Allah and remember to speak the truth.
4. As for blush and rouge: “modesty” (haya’) is one of the best brands and it can be found in any of the Islamic centers.
5. To remove impurities from your face and body: use a soap called “istighfar” (seeking forgiveness of Allah) this soap will remove any bad deeds.
6. Now about your hair: if any if you has a problem of hair split ends, then I suggest “islamic hijab” which will protect your hair from damage.
7. As for jewelry: beautify your hands with humbleness and let your hands be generous and give charity to the poor.
8. To avoid heart disease: forgive people who hurt your feelings.
9. Your necklace should be a sign to pardon your fellow brothers and sisters.
If your follow these advices given to you by the Creator, you will have a beautiful and attractive inner and outer appearance :) inshaAllah.

note: the initial post was a bit too long, so i have to split it into two parts, before you guys quit on me half way. this part I is pretty long as well, but please bear with me!!!!
happy 2011 y'all!!!
its already been 6 days into the new year, and i havent conclude my 2010 like most people did. mostly because i'mlazy busy, busy catching up with TV shows. hehehe huh what a way to start a year kan! haha
my 2010 has been a year full of new findings, knowledge and discovery. like yesteryears, i learn alot. but 2010, was the greatest teacher so far. so my laziness continue, i'll just pinpoint my highlights of the year

- being unemployed for half a year. come to think bout it, what the heck did i do huh??? i remembered, the first few months i was hunting for a potential college/uni for me to pursue my ID. then when i finally found Raffles, Mak asked me to postponed my enrollment cause she needed me to help her with Abang's wedding preparations. so i did. and for months before Abang's big day, i went from one bridal shop to another to survey their promotions and what not. that was stressful, like SERIOUSLY! and i thank God that Mak asked me to help her. i cant imagine if Mak was the one who's running here and there and dealing with all the stresses and Abang's demand and all. pity her, dont you think? and also thank God they didnt leave the catering to me as well. if i were in charge of that one as well, i think i cry for three days before calling the caterer. apa kah? my point is, wedding preparation is a really tedious task. its tiring but at the same time its fun, for me. and after it is all done, i feel like i just achieved something big, although i think i only helped like 40%. but again, it is stressful, til the stage that you feel like you wana get out of the country and go somewhere serene and relaxing to take you head off things. i guess that was exactly why they invent the 'honeymoon' tradition right? to clear the bride & groom's heads after months of wedding preparation? but if the bride & groom is not involve with the preparation, can the wedding planner goes for a vacation instead? perhaps planning a wedding for ourself is not as tedious? coz you get to choose and decide on your own. but doing it for others, you're only the middle person. you get one quotation from this person, and you have to ask for the approval of the groom/bride, then there's the meeting with the minister of finance some more. kan?? ehi panjang la pulok.
i clearly remember, this was the moment when i realised 'i did it! everything went smoothly, Alhamdulillah :')' tangga dah besinsin dah yours truly.
- i learned how to bake cupcakes! and made some $$ out of it :)
my very first attempt on baking and decorating cupcakes! :D
- i got into Raffles! and made some new friends. and met a person which thinks almost similarly like me, in a way. that's my lecturer. this lecturer of mine, is very inspiring i tell you. especially on the first class, he'll like motivated us to go out, to see the world, to experience spaces, to feel the atmosphere, to indulge in the ambience, to not sit at home and just google everything, to get our lazy bums off the chair and walk walk walk run run run go go go wherever you can go. thrice! he did it thrice. once in his class last term, and twice in his two classes yesterday!!! i feel like going to Singapore again, already. or Manila, or Bangkok? Bangkok again? isnt Bangkok is so last yearrr?? NO! (btw, i'm designing retail spaces this term. meaning: i'm designing SHOPS with clothes, or shoes, or bags, or umbrellas, or body care products, you get what i mean. meaning: got to experience the spaces. meaning: SHOPPING MALLS here i come! meaning: FUN FUN FUN!!)
- i met and fell in love with Mickey (who is sleeping at my feet while i write this)
Mickey, disaat mula-mula perkenalan. maseh malu-malu gik time tok.
Mickey, the true colour.
- i discovered the high fashion phenomena which was already going on for a while here in KL. or maybe in other parts of Malaysia too. but my tempurung is not fully opened, so i cant see passed KL yet. ngehehe most importantly, these people wear the tudungs/scarves/shawls/selendangs!! now, who say you cant be fashionable if you're wearing hijab?? just dont get it wrong, hijab is not a fashion. hijab is supposedly to be something you are attached to from within, then you make your hijab fashionable and make your own style out of it :)
- i learned that the car Smart Fortwo CAN be extended. check this out:
Apiz: Smart Fortwo dapat extend, tauk kah?
Aten: extend apa?
Apiz: extend lah. tambah pintu. mun ada duit lebeh, pegi kedei, extend tambah 2 gik pintu, jadi Smart Forfour.
Aten: aieeeeeeeee! menaaa kah?? *mata bersinar2 dah time tok mendengar information yang menarik*
Apiz: aok lah. kakya mun ada duit gik, extend gik. extend gik. sampei jadi bas!
*TOING* Apiz pelantin 30 kaki kenak side kick oleh Aten.

- ·i fall back in love with Yuna. i used to like her back in 2008, but then something happened that made me pull myself away from her. maybe i’ll save the story for another day. but for now, i’m back on being her supporter, publicly.
- got to spend the last few days of December with family. we went to Singapore to see the Christmas' deco. and I-City for the new year's eve night. we didnt wait til 12am though, coz everyones pretty exhausted already. countdown with TV2, and watched KLCC's fireworks from our apartment! it feels good really :) lemme feast your eyes with the photos. ngahaha

yeah i went to Genting in a dress. while queing for the cable car, i got lots of stares from the people around me. their faces were like 'wth r u thinkin goin here wearing a dress????' i throw back a face which said 'helllllo Genting! i'm here!! now where's the beach?' why is it that when a girl wears a comfortable light flowy dress, she has to go to the beach?? 'duh! of course la i'm not that bimbo go play space shot wearing a dress. like hellllo? tok ku melesit skit daie ko.
i-City, Shah Alam
i am proud of myself for taking this pica. muahahahahah!
it is seriously an awesome place. a must go if anyone of you are in the viccinity of KL or Selangor. serious menyesal mun sik pegi, i got several of 'sik sangka ada tempat camtok wujud di Malaysia' after they saw my collection of photos. and Sheila, next time you're in KL and you want me to teman you to go here, i'll be more than pleased to go with you! :D and oh! sik ada antu the night i went there ok. you guys who believed ada antu di siya are so gullible. ngahahah *ehem* and the best part of it was, there was a congregational prayer (sembahyang berjemaah) for Maghrib and Isya' organised that night, at the open air, surrounded by the colourful trees. ada lah dalam 4 5 saf urang join sembahyang :') and while waiting for Isya', they didnt put on a loud music to fill the air, but instead an ustaz gave a good ceramah agama, very suitable for all visitors, not only Muslims :)
i think Farhana got it wrong. i said put on a funny face, not a cute face.
all in all, 2010 was awesome and legendary!! the whole year was a rollercoaster of emotions. and nothing, nothing that i am not grateful of. i'm a firm believer of 'everything happens for a reason' or 'ada hikmah disebalik apa yang berlaku'. yes i really do believe in it, so this is me full of gratitude to Allah SWT for a great year. Alhamdulillah..
to be continued ...
