i'm a red-head now : part I

note: the initial post was a bit too long, so i have to split it into two parts, before you guys quit on me half way. this part I is pretty long as well, but please bear with me!!!!

happy 2011 y'all!!!

its already been 6 days into the new year, and i havent conclude my 2010 like most people did. mostly because i'm lazy busy, busy catching up with TV shows. hehehe huh what a way to start a year kan! haha

my 2010 has been a year full of new findings, knowledge and discovery. like yesteryears, i learn alot. but 2010, was the greatest teacher so far. so my laziness continue, i'll just pinpoint my highlights of the year
  • being unemployed for half a year. come to think bout it, what the heck did i do huh??? i remembered, the first few months i was hunting for a potential college/uni for me to pursue my ID. then when i finally found Raffles, Mak asked me to postponed my enrollment cause she needed me to help her with Abang's wedding preparations. so i did. and for months before Abang's big day, i went from one bridal shop to another to survey their promotions and what not. that was stressful, like SERIOUSLY! and i thank God that Mak asked me to help her. i cant imagine if Mak was the one who's running here and there and dealing with all the stresses and Abang's demand and all. pity her, dont you think? and also thank God they didnt leave the catering to me as well. if i were in charge of that one as well, i think i cry for three days before calling the caterer. apa kah? my point is, wedding preparation is a really tedious task. its tiring but at the same time its fun, for me. and after it is all done, i feel like i just achieved something big, although i think i only helped like 40%. but again, it is stressful, til the stage that you feel like you wana get out of the country and go somewhere serene and relaxing to take you head off things. i guess that was exactly why they invent the 'honeymoon' tradition right? to clear the bride & groom's heads after months of wedding preparation? but if the bride & groom is not involve with the preparation, can the wedding planner goes for a vacation instead? perhaps planning a wedding for ourself is not as tedious? coz you get to choose and decide on your own. but doing it for others, you're only the middle person. you get one quotation from this person, and you have to ask for the approval of the groom/bride, then there's the meeting with the minister of finance some more. kan?? ehi panjang la pulok.
i clearly remember, this was the moment when i realised 'i did it! everything went smoothly, Alhamdulillah :')' tangga dah besinsin dah yours truly.
  • i learned how to bake cupcakes! and made some $$ out of it :)

my very first attempt on baking and decorating cupcakes! :D

    • i got into Raffles! and made some new friends. and met a person which thinks almost similarly like me, in a way. that's my lecturer. this lecturer of mine, is very inspiring i tell you. especially on the first class, he'll like motivated us to go out, to see the world, to experience spaces, to feel the atmosphere, to indulge in the ambience, to not sit at home and just google everything, to get our lazy bums off the chair and walk walk walk run run run go go go wherever you can go. thrice! he did it thrice. once in his class last term, and twice in his two classes yesterday!!! i feel like going to Singapore again, already. or Manila, or Bangkok? Bangkok again? isnt Bangkok is so last yearrr?? NO! (btw, i'm designing retail spaces this term. meaning: i'm designing SHOPS with clothes, or shoes, or bags, or umbrellas, or body care products, you get what i mean. meaning: got to experience the spaces. meaning: SHOPPING MALLS here i come! meaning: FUN FUN FUN!!)
    • i met and fell in love with Mickey (who is sleeping at my feet while i write this)
    •
Mickey, disaat mula-mula perkenalan. maseh malu-malu gik time tok.

    Mickey, the true colour.

    • i discovered the high fashion phenomena which was already going on for a while here in KL. or maybe in other parts of Malaysia too. but my tempurung is not fully opened, so i cant see passed KL yet. ngehehe most importantly, these people wear the tudungs/scarves/shawls/selendangs!! now, who say you cant be fashionable if you're wearing hijab?? just dont get it wrong, hijab is not a fashion. hijab is supposedly to be something you are attached to from within, then you make your hijab fashionable and make your own style out of it :)
    • i learned that the car Smart Fortwo CAN be extended. check this out:
Apiz: Smart Fortwo dapat extend, tauk kah?
    Aten: extend apa?
Apiz: extend lah. tambah pintu. mun ada duit lebeh, pegi kedei, extend tambah 2 gik pintu, jadi Smart Forfour.
Aten: aieeeeeeeee! menaaa kah?? *mata bersinar2 dah time tok mendengar information yang menarik*
Apiz: aok lah. kakya mun ada duit gik, extend gik. extend gik. sampei jadi bas!
*TOING* Apiz pelantin 30 kaki kenak side kick oleh Aten.

i seriously thought he was serious  -.-" coz Apiz is not the one who usually give this kinda ridiculuos information. usually, he says one dumbest word at a time, like calling me with his own name. so full of himself kan? imagine klaka ngan dirikpun kali. i love you more already, baby!

wooopps nampak ketiak ktk yang.. kucikucikuuuu~ keletek ketiak nya...

    •  not forgetting my superb birthday!!!

    • i got to experience Balinese spa! muahahaha i forgot to tell you in my birthday entry, that a spa treatment was one of my birthday presents! hihihi it was awesomeness! especially the Balinese scrub. you want??? silalah pegi ke Bali ataupun Thailand sekarang.
lebeh kurang mcm tok lah tek. yerdeh. alu nak imagine i topless you people tok..
    • ·i fall back in love with Yuna. i used to like her back in 2008, but then something happened that made me pull myself away from her. maybe i’ll save the story for another day. but for now, i’m back on being her supporter, publicly.
      • got to spend the last few days of December with family. we went to Singapore to see the Christmas' deco. and I-City for the new year's eve night. we didnt wait til 12am though, coz everyones pretty exhausted already. countdown with TV2, and watched KLCC's fireworks from our apartment! it feels good really :) lemme feast your eyes with the photos. ngahaha

      Singapore - christmas night

super love this moment!!! makan-ice-cream-one-dollar moment

       vibrant colour of flowers~ loike!

Mickey is afraid of that green thing. recognise it?

my dady kool & mama kool

yeah i went to Genting in a dress. while queing for the cable car, i got lots of stares from the people around me. their faces were like 'wth r u thinkin goin here wearing a dress????' i throw back a face which said 'helllllo Genting! i'm here!! now where's the beach?' why is it that when a girl wears a comfortable light flowy dress, she has to go to the beach?? 'duh! of course la i'm not that bimbo go play space shot wearing a dress. like hellllo? tok ku melesit skit daie ko.

       i-City, Shah Alam

i am proud of myself for taking this pica. muahahahahah!

it is seriously an awesome place. a must go if anyone of you are in the viccinity of KL or Selangor. serious menyesal mun sik pegi, i got several of 'sik sangka ada tempat camtok wujud di Malaysia' after they saw my collection of photos. and Sheila, next time you're in KL and you want me to teman you to go here, i'll be more than pleased to go with you! :D and oh! sik ada antu the night i went there ok. you guys who believed ada antu di siya are so gullible. ngahahah *ehem* and the best part of it was, there was a congregational prayer (sembahyang berjemaah) for Maghrib and Isya' organised that night, at the open air, surrounded by the colourful trees. ada lah dalam 4 5 saf urang join sembahyang :') and while waiting for Isya', they didnt put on a loud music to fill the air, but instead an ustaz gave a good ceramah agama, very suitable for all visitors, not only Muslims :)

i think Farhana got it wrong. i said put on a funny face, not a cute face.

all in all, 2010 was awesome and legendary!! the whole year was a rollercoaster of emotions. and nothing, nothing that i am not grateful of. i'm a firm believer of 'everything happens for a reason' or 'ada hikmah disebalik apa yang berlaku'. yes i really do believe in it, so this is me full of gratitude to Allah SWT for a great year. Alhamdulillah..

      to be continued ...
