classically nostalgic

the lyrics may sound ridiculous, it may sound kindergarten-ish, but ironically it was smart, classic and famous! is there any of 'today's' songs that can be as catchy as this one:

i was lucky i took a round at Kampung Boyan last weekend. there was this exhibition on old photos of the villages around that area including Kampung Sourabaya, Gersik and Boyan itself. looking at those photos, really brought a sentimental feeling within me. and you probably would know how it feels if the veteran villagers themselves see those photos of their old kampung, and hometown. they lived the time, they felt the air, they very much feel proud about it i'm sure. i took a number of the old photos, but of course my quality of photo won't match the experience of viewing the photos during the exhibition itself. with the glaring sun of late evening and my reflection on the photos and what not, but just enjoy it aight!

(this man here, i think maybe he might be one the men in this oldies photo, coz i found him looking so intensely into the photos as if trying to remember the exact feeling oh that day once upon a time ago. i could cry by looking at him looking at the photos alone :))

(fell in love with the almost similar bicycles parked so closely together! i wouldn't recognised which one's mine if i were to do so)

my personal favourite of the bunch would be this one. try beat this if you dare.

edited (23 March 2010):
i just knew, Nek Aki was on of the first few teachers who taught in SRK Gersik. he could be in one of the photos, but i never really looked at the handsome faces of the gentlemen. my bad.
